The clicker on the BVL reels provides the perfect tension when setting baits, ensuring the reel doesn't backlash while also being gentle enough to avoid popping the kite clip or sending your bait soaring. The 7:1 gear ratio is crucial for backing down on a fish that’s going ballistic on the surface, helping you stay on top of the action.

The line capacity of the BVL series is another standout feature. With plenty of line on the spool, you maintain maximum inches per crank even when the line is spread out over multiple fish. Awesome reels!!

I bought the BV2 600 and 800 SPJ and I was blown by how nice the machining is, drag adjustment is nice and tight, drag is smooth and affective. I was out on a two day trip, hooked on 60+ pounder BFT on the drop and the power handle makes it so nice to winch them in! It is perfectly designed for my use as a lefty and I am a solid Accurate fan now. I will use exclusively, and will be buying more in the future.

Extremely versatile reel

I purchased the mahi 300 valiant before the season in south shore Long Island NY. I got reel for bottom fishing but then soon realized this light weight beast of a reel can do it all. I’ve used for deep ocean fluke, seabass, jigging works amazing, even out of montaulk. I decided (since I like light tackle) to try with the striped bass live lining. The reel had out done itself, reeeling in bass over 40lbs with ease. Smooth, light weight, and easy to use plus the mahi wrap makes it look insane. The lever drag works great, especially live lining bait. It was shipped out quickly from the other side of the country too. My only complaint is that I’ve purchased so many other reels in the past (other brands) when I could have just bought a accurate and that’s pretty much all I would have needed. Now time to save up and purchase the larger accurates for some tuna which I’m pretty sure the 300 can handle the little guys

This reel is the dopest dope, I’ve ever smoked. Love how light it is, how compact it is, the amount of line I can fit on here is insane (400yrds+ of PE2 Nomad Ammonite). Really love the extended handle that comes with my model too. The drag on this guy is no joke either, it’ll bite down the full 30lbs if you’re looking to party…and remain smooth too. The hype is reel with Accurate (lol see what I did there). I sprung for the custom color. I chose Mahi, even though it was my second choice. Not getting into the details, but if you want custom work, and it’s not on their website, or on an authorized dealers shelf, there’s a process. That being said, despite being my second choice, the paint makes the reel look as good as it performs. Everyone who has laid eyes on this thing is blown away. I love that these are custom, and no two are the same. I say that cause the person who made mine was feeling the blue splatter especially heavy on that day compared to others lol. There’s blue streaks on mine from the paint dripping down off it.
