New V2 Valiant, where technology meets function

The Valiant 2 is the combination of time on the water and constant innovation to take this reel to the next level. The first reel to give you all the power of a TwinDrag® lever drag reel, with the castability of a Star Drag reel. The new XCT® feature helps control the spool speed when casting while minimalizing backlashes and giving you a smooth, long cast. The Centrifugal Casting Design works once the spool starts in motion giving the angler confidence in making the right cast. Accurate has also added a couple safety features to the new V2 Valiant that include a detent in drag cam prior to free spool to alleviate problems on a fish, and a push button stop prior to full drag so fish won’t be lost while increasing the drag.

This reel offers all the same built in features as its predecessor including CVX Technology making it extremely lightweight and strong, built of 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, its light and comfortable for those hours on the rail. Precision cut 17-4 Stainless gears for strength and Direcshift® Instagage system for direct shift in and out of gears. The V2 is the Accurate answer to power and castability for today’s run and gun fishing techniques. Available in both single and two speed models in sizes 300, 400, 500, 500N, 600, 600N, 800, 800N and 1000. The V2 is also available in SPJ models in both single and two speed models including 300, 500N, 600N, and 800N sizes.

300C, 300-SPJ, 500N frames do not have the holes to accept a rod clamp, so a reel seat is necessary for mounting to your rod.
