Remembering Jack Nilsen

Hans "Jack" Nilsen was born in Oslo, Norway, on Feb. 21, 1944, to Erling and Dagmar Nilsen during World War II.  Erling took a job in America working on blueprint making machines, and after a year, he returned to Norway to bring his wife and son to the U.S. to begin their lives in the new country.  The entire Nilsen family departed Norway in 1951 to escape the country ravaged by the tyranny of the Nazi regime.
